How many Carrefour shares are required to join the Club?
+
At least 1 registered share or 100 bearer shares are required to join the Carrefour Shareholders' Club. Registration is free at clubactionnaires.carrefour.com with proof of ownership. Note that the Club has been largely inactive since 2018, with no structured programme of events or gifts.
Do Carrefour shareholders receive discounts in stores?
+
No. The Carrefour Shareholders' Club provides no in-store discount and no discount through Carrefour Banque. Shareholder status carries no voucher, special loyalty card or price benefit. This is one of the programme's weaknesses compared with groups such as L'Oreal or Hermes.
What events does the Carrefour Shareholders' Club organise?
+
Very few. The annual general meeting in May remains the main event, sometimes with an attendance gift, such as a bag of own-brand products in 2025. Historically, the Club offered visits to hypermarkets and logistics centres, but this programme has been almost entirely inactive since 2018. No regular events are scheduled.
Does Carrefour offer a loyalty dividend to long-term shareholders?
+
No. Carrefour does not pay an enhanced dividend, such as the 10% loyalty premium generally reserved for shares held in registered form for more than 2 years. All shareholders receive the same dividend, regardless of holding method or duration. An exceptional dividend was nevertheless paid in 2024 (EUR0.23 per share in addition to the ordinary EUR0.92).
Is the Carrefour Shareholders' Club still active in 2026?
+
Formally, yes: clubactionnaires.carrefour.com remains online and registrations are still open. In practice, the Club has been dormant since 2018, with no programme of events, no dedicated gifts and no regular communication beyond standard financial publications. Membership adds little value compared with ordinary shareholder-relations services.
